I like lace - it makes me happy
Before it's blocked, it sure looks crappy
A nice, cool bath, a thousand pins - and on my face a big huge grin
Magic, ethereal, gossamer, divine,
And best of all, it's mine, mine mine!

I like lace - it make me happy,
Except for writing poems that sound real sappy.
Ok, it's more Ogden Nash than Dylan Thomas, but it's a poem, and my entry into The Amazing Lace, Challenge 3.

Gorgeous! You do such a great job on all your lace projects.

Hilarious! You did a great job. I'm dreading this particular challenge. I think I'd rather be forced to eat live scorpions that write a poem and actually put it on the ol' blog!

The shawl is beautiful. And just to let you know I think in the same terms you mentioned on Li's blog- thinking twice and asking "How much yarn would that buy?" before laying any money down!

I love your shawl. It made me smile,
But I can bet it took a while.
A long circular needle, a tiny chart –
My oh my, you must be smart!
Lovely, diaphanous, graceful, divine,
I only wish it were mine, mine mine!
Absolutely beautiful! Love it.
