It took our summer a while to finally arrive, so no wonder you took off time to enjoy it! Looks like you had a great trip! I enjoyed seeing the photos.

Isn't retirement a delicious, busy time?

Just for the record, some of my most boring posts (my opinion) written on days when I thought I had nothing to blog about got the most comments.

Kristyn

Looks like a great trip.

Oh, thank you Dorothy. Lovely pictures and a lovely 40th anniversary. I didn't check until tonight, and it was a delightful surprise after Halloween shopping for a mask for the mannequin my hubbie bought at an antique store going out of business. He also bought some brass spears and harness, all in a brass container. I can't wait for Halloween after living out in the country without trick-or-treaters. My son and daughter-in-law tell me this neighborhood has loads - many families in the neighborhood.

Well, congratulations! It looks like a wonderful way to have celebrated all those years (not to mention a great excuse to wear one of your spectacular shawls).

Wonderful travel pics. Thanks for taking us with you.

Kristen

What a dream anniversary trip. And your beaded shawl is dreamy too!

Glad you got to have such a wonderful time! (And an excuse to wear the gorgeous shawl!!)
